Ben GisbeyAssociateBen is an Associate at Bray & Krais. He trained at city firm Denton Wilde Sapte (now SNR Denton), including a six month secondment to ABN AMRO Bank. He then spent two years in that firm’s corporate department where he worked on a broad range of corporate matters for both public and private companies with a particular focus on the technology, media and telecoms sector. Ben joined Bray & Krais in 2008, where he now specialises in advising on both corporate and commercial matters for the firm’s varied client base in the media and entertainment sector. Corporate: Ben advises on joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, structuring, investments, fundraisings and other corporate matters. Commercial: Ben advises on matters in relation to live events and touring, recording, publishing, management, endorsements, new media, general rights exploitation and other commercial contracts. Ben acts for a wide range of clients, including live events companies, record companies, publishers, PR companies, technology companies, brands, investment funds, investors, artist management, artists, writers, producers and other talent. Ben graduated in Law from the Universtiy of Southhampton and completed the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, Guildford. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Ben worked for record companies and before that as a sound engineer.
