Live Events & TouringWe have extensive experience in international branded live events and have worked on a number of experiential projects for brands, agencies, charities and promoters in different territories across the world. Our expertise includes matters relating to ticket sales, sponsorship, broadcast, infrastructure and clearances, with extensive experience in rights clearances (including performer and production clearances), infrastructure and insurance issues, contracting with local production companies, negotiating artist agreements, sponsorship arrangements, as well as filming and exploitation via television, radio, online media and mobile applications, engaging local promoters, dealing with budgets, venue agreements, technical production issues, ticketing, merchandising, trademarks, ownership and licensing of works, contracting artists and performers, commercial and broadcast exploitation, collection societies, jurisdictional and other considerations. Previous projects include the Live 8 concerts, where we represented the Band Aid Charitable Trust and implemented all the requisite contracts for each of the worldwide concerts and Rolling Stones™ touring since 1996. Other branded projects include Live Earth, Nokia New Years Eve™, Hennessy Experience, Buchanan’s Forever branded concerts in South America, the Bacardi and Groove Armada ground–breaking partnership, the worldwide Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Programme, and Arthurs Day 2009, 2010 and 2011 for Diageo. We also provide the legal and business affairs support for F1 Rocks™, which to date has staged branded live events including Singapore (2009), Sao Paolo (2010 and 2011), India, Milan and Valencia (2011). |
