Bray & Krais Announces Appointments of Partner and Associate

Specialist music and entertainment law firm Bray & Krais are delighted to announce the arrival of sports Partner Udo Onwere and corporate Associate Alexander Cole.

Udo joins the firm from Farrer & Co, and Alexander joins from Slaughter & May.

Prior to becoming a qualified solicitor, Udo Onwere was a professional footballer, having played for clubs including Fulham Football Club. Building on his established sporting background, Udo advises high-profile sports individuals, particularly professional footballers, across a range of sports and private client legal issues including all aspects of tax and estate planning, wills, trusts, Court of Protection matters and powers of attorney as well as on contractual negotiations with agents and clubs. Udo advises a number of clients with their own businesses, focusing on the creation of family trusts, lifetime settlements and succession planning.

Alexander Cole advises on commercial and corporate matters across a range of industries, and has particular expertise across the music and tech sectors. Building on his experience as a corporate/ M&A solicitor, Alex specialises in share sales, asset sales, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and general corporate advisory work. Alex combines this knowledge of corporate law with a keen interest in the music and tech industries, strengthening his advice on commercial matters in both areas.
