Our Dispute Resolution team has an industry-leading practice, advising global superstar artists, major record labels and publishers, high-profile actors and theatre production companies, professional sportspersons, authors and publishers, and industry bodies on some of the most influential and high-profile disputes in the creative and sports sectors — from copyright and IP disputes to contractual and reputational matters.

The Role

We are looking for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our growing Dispute Resolution team. This is an opportunity to build a career in contentious work in the music, entertainment and sports industries, working directly with partners on complex, high-value and often high-profile matters — not just supporting from the sidelines.

You will:

• Assist the team in all areas of their work (including supporting the team in active court proceedings).

• Draft correspondence, advice and evidence.

• Liaise directly with clients, counsel and experts.

• Get involved in business development and industry events across the music, sport and entertainment sectors.

About You

• Newly qualified solicitor (0–1 PQE), with a training contract that included a contentious/litigation seat, or equivalent litigation experience

• Strong academics and excellent drafting and analytical skills

• A genuine interest in the media, music, sport or entertainment industries

• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable taking early responsibility

• A team player who thrives in a close-knit, boutique environment
